With all the festivities going on during our Independence Day celebrations, did you notice a new face? Well, maybe not too new. Robert “Bob” Everson joined the team as Assistant Facilities Manager late last year. Now, since George Cooley retired at the end of June, Bob Everson is our new Niguel Shores Facilities Manager and he was here with his staff Jason Lelli, Ray Russomano and Tom Shimkus on the 4th making sure things went smoothly. Bob even took the time to do a walk through with the Men’s Club to make sure everything was in place for the Pancake Breakfast which went off without a hitch.
Bob, as he likes to be called, was born and raised in South Orange County and currently lives with his wife in Foothill Ranch. They have seven children ranging in age from nine to thirty years old. They love the outdoors, especially camping and spending time on the water. Bob has a wide-ranging background in both technical and corporate environments. From maintaining safety compliance at Disneyland Resort and as a consultant in Florida and Shanghai, China to Director for the Technical Support Monitoring at Justice Services where he man- aged over 500% growth in the department. He brings us experience in facilities maintenance, vendor management, facility improvement, and he most recently started and ran a residential construction company here in South Orange County.
We on the Maintenance Committee appreciate his excel- lent responses and concise reporting to the many requests and needs that arise on a daily basis here in the Shores. We are confident Bob will continue the tradition of keeping Niguel Shores the “Extremely Well-Maintained Community” it is, well into the future. Welcome Bob!
