At our last meeting, we welcomed Jonathan Zaidman, the Engagement Director of the Ecology Center in San Juan Capistrano. The Ecology Center is a 28-acre Regenerative Organic Certified™ farm and education center that is at the forefront of southern Club officers welcome speakers from The Ecology Center.
California’s ecological movement. The center strives to form more direct connections between people and their food. There are many ways to enjoy the offerings of the Ecology Center, whether shopping at the Farm Stand, dining at the Campesino Cafe or Community Table, or ordering CSA boxes containing fresh produce. Bakers and Helpers Needed!—On the 4th of July, the Women’s Club once again will be sponsoring a Bake Sale and the very popular Cake Walk. Check out the announcement in this issue for information on how you can help and—of course—your donations of baked goods are greatly appreciated. There will be signup sheets at the June Tea to volunteer and/or bring baked goods for the event.
