Mark your calendars for this month’s Luncheon at Noon on May 9 for a presentation by the Ecology Center. Learn about the Center’s Earth-friendly activities, family feasts, strawberry picking, grow-and-eat summer camp, and programs for all ages.
We also have a Bocce Ball Social coming up on May 16. (See the announcement on this page.)
Remember, your $25 dues for the 2024-2025 year are payable now. You’ll want to be a part of all the fun and friendly events we have planned. Bring your check to the luncheon, or drop it off at the NSCA Office.
Sending Mother’s Day good wishes to all the mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters, aunts, and mother-figures who have touched our lives.

EVENT: Come have a (Bocce) Ball!
WHEN: Thursday, May 16th at 4:00 p.m.
WHERE: At our brand-new Bocce courts.
BRING: An appetizer to share and your own beverage.
NO CHARGE: We’ll provide the balls, paper goods and PRIZES!
The name “Bocce” is derived from the Italian boccia for bowl (as in bowling) and is basically a bowling game played since days of ancient Egypt (using polished stones), Greece, and the Roman Empire. Isn’t it time you learned to play?
We’ll teach you the rules and help form teams. Come to play or just to watch! No RSVP needed.
