Our April meeting featured a presentation by our 2023 Garden Club Scholarship recipient, Linda Cessna, who is studying Horticulture and Landscape Design at Saddle- back College. The club also made an excursion to the Garden of
Launa Gould in San Clemente. Launa is the Orange County CGCI district director and parliamentarian for the San Clemente Garden Club. We toured her garden, and enjoyed some light refreshments, and even a surprise activity.
Our next meeting will be on Monday, May 20, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Clubhouse. Our guest speaker will be Adam from Harvest, Niguel Shores landscaping contractor.
The Garden Club continues to welcome new members. Membership is open to all residents of Niguel Shores. You do not need to be a gardening expert to join. Our meetings are varied and may comprise a speaker, workshop, garden related projects or a field trip. Refreshments are served at each meeting. Dues are $20 per person per year, and $5 per guest visit. To join, sign-up forms are in the Niguel Shores office.
Please contact Sandi Stauffer at sandistauffer@comcast.net with any questions. We hope that you will join us.
