We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Now it’s time to turn your attention to trimming the tree and put- ting up those lights for the Holiday Lights Contest. They’re looking for lights on every street—and watch out for Wind- jammer this year!
Even during the holidays, there are projects the Maintenance Committee and Staff are working on, and these never stop. Speaking of never stopping, our committee would like to give a big thank you to our hard-working Maintenance Staff headed by George Cooley and his team, Dave Smith, Tom Shimkus and Ray Russomanno, who all have been with us for many years. Niguel Shores simply could not function without this great group of professionals!
Positions Open—Do you know anyone looking to join the Maintenance Staff? George Cooley has a part-time Maintenance Staff position open and would love a refer- ral. If you know anyone who might be a good fit for the team, please have them apply at the NSCA Office. (The position is not open to Niguel Shores residents.)
In addition, the Maintenance Committee is looking for one or two residents to fill our ranks. The time commitment is actually very small as we meet only once a month on the third Thursday at 9 a.m. and our Chairman Len Beebe is great at keeping the meetings under an hour. Other duties are walking an assigned area to assess for safety issues once or twice a year and reporting back to the committee. Being a committee member is a great way to be involved in the workings of our community and contribute to keeping Niguel Shores the extremely well-maintained neighborhood it is.
Happy Holidays and see you at the Bluff for one of our wonderful sunsets. Cheers!
