Anne Wilke, from Anne’s House of Color, gave a presentation demonstrating how dramatically colors can affect a person’s appearance, as well as how important it is to select clothes that complement your body type.
Our luncheon meeting this month will be held October 13 at Noon. Estate attorney Jennifer Elliott will address documents that every person should have, such as a will, power of attorney and health care directive. In addition, she will discuss the special legal needs of women who are single, divorced, or widowed. Social time begins at noon, followed by a salad luncheon at 12:30 and the special presenter at 1:00. Watch your email for the invitation and a reminder if it’s your turn to bring a salad.
We are holding a get-together for new members in the afternoon on October 27 at the Clubhouse. This will be a great opportunity for new members to learn more about what the Club has to offer, how to get involved and volunteer, and meet committee chairs and Board members. New members should watch their US mail for an invitation with further details.
