Outside Publications Using The Niguel Shores Name
Some people have inquired about receiving brochures and magazines in the mail that reference Niguel Shores. We want to clarify that these are advertising publications that have absolutely no official affiliation with the Niguel Shores Community Association, the NSCA Communication Committee, or the Sea- shore News. They may contain material aimed at Niguel Shores, but the publications are not coming from your Niguel Shores Community Association, Board of Directors or Management.
The only officially recognized publications from Niguel Shores Community Association are the Seashore News and the website niguelshores.org. Any advertising magazines, mailers or brochures you may receive from outside sources referencing Niguel Shores are not endorsed by your Association, and the information they contain may not be accurate or reflect our community standards.
As we have noted in the past, the Seashore News is very much a community effort written and published by our residents, and has been a tradition in Niguel Shores for nearly 50 years. More than 70 volunteers work together to bring you the newsletter each month. From the small group of editors, writers, and photographers who make up the Communications Commit- tee, to the resourceful monthly columnists, to the loyal group of collators and distributors, and to our NSCA board members and staff who advise us monthly—we are a team effort of neighborhood volunteers. Our purpose is to spread communication within our community. The ads in our newsletter help to pay for printing, not for profit. Don’t be misled by commercial publications that look like they represent our Association but actually have no connection to Niguel Shores Community Association.
