The non-fiction Semi-Serious Book Club met on February 22 to discuss Homo Deus–A Brief History of Tomorrow by Yuval Noah Harari. He reviews the variety of our past epochs and gives his forecast of our future, where Man, through technology, tries to achieve a happier and more balanced world.
On March 22, we will discuss The Premonition: A Pandemic Story by Michael Lewis, a thriller pitting a band of medical visionaries against the confusing news, politics, and health announcements concerning the outbreak of COVID 19. We will meet at the home of Norton Schwartz.
