At this time of the year when we light candles, adorn our homes, share gifts with special people, and enjoy the traditions of our religions and cultures, the Communication Committee sends wishes for holiday cheer and Christmas joy to you and your loved ones.
We enjoy bringing you the news of Niguel Shores each month, and it is truly a group project. On the first week of the month, the Communication Committee meets to brainstorm d ideas for the coming month’s issue. Then our reporters do the big job of gathering information and writing their articles, due mid-month. Our editors review all the material and photos, making sure everything reads well and fits into the allotted pages before sending the files to a graphics designer to prepare the issue for print. Once the 1100 print newsletters are delivered to us, a team of residents collate and count out copies for each neighborhood. Finally, another team of volunteers deliver the newsletter to your home. As the saying goes, it really does “take a village.” Many thanks to every single person in the chain of about 75 helping hands responsible for bringing the Seashore News to our community!
Looking for more news? Check our website to find “all you ever wanted to know” about Niguel Shores. We post updates from our committees, clubs, management, and the NSCA Board plus links to civic organizations and interesting local announcements. For example, last month did you see the list of family-friendly events like the Parade of Elephants, the Turkey Trot, and the tree lighting at our neighbor the Ritz Carlton? The website also provides links to register guests at the gate, download NSCA forms, find Niguel Shores rules and regulations, and even post a comment about something that’s on your mind.
