I hope you didn’t miss the Garden Club meeting on November 16, because everyone there had a great time and lots of fun assembling beautiful Christmas ornaments for our Forget-Me-Not Project.
This project is named after a delicate blue flower symbolizing friendship and remembrance. We are going to extend the gifts we made for friendship and holiday remembrance to those seniors involved in the Dana Point Senior Meal Program. Our members created 30 beautiful ornaments for the seniors using air plants (tillandsia), pinecones, berries and ribbons, turning them into holiday ornaments.
Now let’s talk about our own club’s traditional Holi- day Celebration of friendship and remembrance held each December. Sorry to say, this year we have to cancel that get-together because of the new state COVID-19 restrictions. Holiday good wishes to all and happy gardening in
