Communication Committee: October 2020 Update

The year 2020 will most certainly be remembered as a very
different time not just here in Niguel Shores, but throughout the country. Even so, your NSCA Communications Committee is doing our best to keep all residents informed about the happenings in and outside the gates of Niguel Shores. We encourage all residents to follow us at niguelshores.org for the most up-to-date news including pool, bluff park and office information, as well as when and how meetings are taking place.
In addition to following our community updates on the Niguel Shores website, you can continue to read the Seashore News either by the hard copy that is delivered directly to your door each month, or by looking for current and past issues online at niguelshores.org.

First Place Award
This year, as in several previous years, the Seashore News received honors from Neighborhoods USA, an organization devoted to recognizing the best efforts of communities across the nation. We were awarded 1st Place for our online news- letter and Finalist for our print version.

Graphics and Layout Designer Speaking of the Seashore News, this is a good opportunity for us to thank our longtime graphics and layout designer, Mary Francis McGavic, who gives the newsletter its professional “look” each month. As many of you know, the Seashore News has been a tradition in Niguel Shores for nearly fifty years. Our award-winning newsletter grew
from a few xeroxed sheets in 1973 to a publication that has grown bigger and better over the years with all the input from our resident contributors. And, quite frankly, Mary McGavic is the one responsible for laying out all our articles, page by page, and making us look so good! Since March of 2007 (more than 13 years!), she has worked behind the scenes every month to make sure we are ready to “go to print” and get to you on time. Thank you, Mary. We very much appreciate all you do for the Seashore News!
