Women’s Club members and their guests enjoyed an evening of festive food and music at the Women’s Club Holiday Party on December 13. President Terry Link and Holiday Party Chair Janelle Sommer and their committee turned the clubhouse into a magical forest-themed “Woodland Wonder,” and under the tree were toys members donated for Dana Point 5th Marine families. It was a great night celebrating with family and friends.
We are looking forward to another year of parties, fashion shows, traditional English teas, and other special events along with our monthly luncheons featuring exciting speakers. With the New Year upon us, we will begin with our first luncheon meeting on January 10 at Noon. Our speaker will be Lauri Taylor, author of The Accidental Truth. Lauri travels internationally to speak about this book regarding her mother’s death.
She tells a compelling story of how her mother’s murder investigation taught her about life. Lauri lives right here in Niguel Shores and happens to be the neighbor and friend of our very own Women’s Club Treasurer Cathy Tyson, who will have the pleasure of introducing her.
Thanks Cathy, for bringing her to the attention of our Vice President Jennifer Hochstadter, who is responsible for the programs at our meetings. And speaking of Jennifer, I would like to personally thank her for assisting me with the content of these monthly articles in the Seashore News. She has been supplying detailed information on our upcoming speakers and I really appreciate it. Thank you, Jennifer, The Niguel Shores Women’s Club is truly a team effort.
The Women’s Club is open to Niguel Shores resident to promote friendship, fun and service in the community.
