Women’s Club Luncheon: April 12, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the Clubhouse

Our annual Fashion Show Luncheon took place on March 8 at the Clubhouse before a packed gathering of members and guests. President Lydia Reese called the business meeting to order promptly at noon, introduced the many guests, recognized our members who have March birthdays, and then moved on to a motion for a nominating committee to get back to the membership by next month’s meeting with nominations for a new Board for next year.
Then Ginny Nevitt, chairperson of the Home Tour, our next big event, announced that the Home Tour will take place on Tuesday, April 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tickets to this very popular event can be purchased in advance at the Niguel Shores office for $35 for members, $40 for guests (cash or check only). No tickets will be sold on the day of the tour, so be sure to get yours early. Lydia thanked the Hospitality Committee for their great work in getting the tables decorated with a spring motif of flowers and bunnies and for arranging the buffet for us all to enjoy.
Hansa Seghal, Fashion Show Chairperson, then introduced Sheri Senter from Chico’s Boutique in San Juan Capistrano. Seven of our member-models dazzled us with the latest spring fashions that emphasized bright colored prints, black and white combinations, all shades of blue, and best of all, easy-care fabrics!
Our models had as much fun as the audience did, as you can see from the photo. After the festive show, two lucky members won the raffle drawing for $50 gift certificates at Chico’s.
It was a fun and exciting afternoon for us all. Our next meeting will be April 12 at noon in the Clubhouse. Until then!
