The Maintenance Committee is now fully staffed and ready to take on our 2018 tasks. Members have their new assignments and our charter has been updated and approved to reflect current duties and responsibilities.
Geoff Dunlevie, Tim Murphy, and Nader Sadoughi have joined the committee, while two of our long-term members, Cyril Jones and Karla Sanders, are retiring.
The committee’s vision statement includes the phrase “an extremely well-maintained community.” In support of that vision, several projects are scheduled for this year. The clubhouse and office, already nine and ten years old, are due for some inside and outside painting.
Pool furniture will be replaced this year and the upper deck furniture probably next year. Tennis Court wind screens will be replaced. Some of the picnic benches at the bluff will be replaced. Several streets will be sealcoated later this year as well. No promise, but we will try get all our street signs replaced this year with new solar lighted signs.
So, once again we say welcome to the new members— you have a lot of work to do. Thank you, Cyril Jones. Thank you, Karla Sanders. Thank you for your support of our vision and your years of service to the community.
