Recreation Committee: Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all! It’s amazing how fast time flies. I want to thank all of the Recreation Committee members—Chrissy Rausch, Nancy Tinnes, Kathy Samuel, Chris Zoch and Rhonda Dunlevie—who took the time out of their busy schedules to chair different events throughout the year. They reinforced what we already know: Niguel Shores is the best community in the area.
We ended 2017 with another great, fun and memorable New Year’s Eve party. If you have not had the chance to attend one, mark your calendar for the coming year. The room was decorated to the ceiling with balloons, party hats and favors.
A toast was made at midnight as we watched the ball drop in New York and danced to the sounds of DJ Diane Studer. Also, thank you to Kathy Samuel for organizing the Christmas Lights Contest and judging the winners with her team.
Recapping another great year of events and more to come: We enjoyed St. Patrick’s Day, Garage Sale, Taco Night, Memorial Day BBQ, In-N-Out Night, July 4th, Food Truck Night, Island Fever Festival, Summer Bluff Concert, Labor Day BBQ, Halloween Party, NSCA Talent Show, Holiday Tree Lighting, Holiday Lights Contest and New Year’s Eve party. This is not possible without all our
volunteers, so a big thank you to all who participated in another fun year.
