Recreation Committee: October Events

We had great turnouts at our September BBQ, Band Concert, and Island Festival. A big thank you to Kevin Rausch for lighting the Labor Day grill and to all the others that helped. Don’t miss these events in October:
Garage Sale – October 14, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Sign up in the office to participate. Donation pick up will be at 1 p.m. so make sure to leave unwanted items on the curb.
Halloween Party – October 29, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mark your calendars for our annual Halloween Party. Wear your best costume, participate in the parade, enjoy the games, and eat pizza! $5 Entry Fee.

Holiday Boutique – November 18, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Holiday Lights Contest – December 15
Get those Christmas lights out of storage and ready just in time to participate in the Holiday Lights Contest. Start decorating after the Thanksgiving holiday. Watch for information in the November Seashore News on how to enter.
