Women’s Golf: July 2017 News

The Niguel Shores ladies held their golf outing on Monday, June 12 at The Ranch at Laguna Beach (formerly Ben Brown’s 9-hole course). Our lady golfers formed two teams and enjoyed the scramble format under sunny blue skies and perfect temps! After the game, Vice President Irene McDonald thanked the ladies who gathered for the luncheon including social members Joan Beyer, Ceacy Johns and Ruthie Stahl.
June turned out to be a big birthday month for the group with Ruthie on the 15th, Joan on the 25th, Julie on the 27th, and India on the 30th!
After lunch the golf winners of the day were announced with Team 1 members Val Mitchell, India Rouse and Julie Patton earning a score of 36 over Team 2 members Irene McDonald, Terri Matrish, and Catriona Sigsby with a score of 43. Sweeping the individual contests was Catriona with closest to the pin on #6 and #8, and longest drive on #9! Well done, ladies!
