The Niguel Shores Women’s Club meets regularly on the second Thursday of the month for an informative program, social exchange, club business, and a delicious salad luncheon prepared by our members. Interested homeowners and residents of the Shores are invited to join and enjoy the activities of the Women’s Club, which began more than 40 years ago as a small neighborly gathering and has now grown to a membership of over 100. Annual dues are $10.
Our opening meeting for the 2016-2017 season will be Thursday, September 8, at 12 noon. $3 for members, $5 for guests.
The special program that day promises to be of great interest as Lieutenant Eric Ledesma discusses Homeland Security measures and overall safety operations along the coast at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
Lieutenant Ledesma has a lengthy and varied background in law enforcement including experience in gang enforcement, SWAT team, critical incident management, and counter-terrorism. He currently runs operations as Lieutenant of the Port Police Division.
Members, please watch your email or phone messages for a detailed invitation to the September meeting coming from the Women’s Club Communication Committee.
Also mark your calendars now for our future meeting dates: October 13, November 10, December TBD (Holiday Party), January 12, February 9, March 9, April 13, May 11, and June 8 (Formal Tea and Officer Installation).
