Page Turners’ Book Club will meet this month to discuss In the Garden of the Beasts, by Erik Larson. The novel tells the story of the American ambassador to Germany and his family, living in Germany during Hitler’s rise. The information comes from diaries, letters and other documents. It is an interesting perspective on Hitler and how he came into power.
The Monday morning group will meet on October 22, at 10:00 in the home of Lyn Long, 23781 Timor Bay. The Monday afternoon group will also meet at Lyn’s, who will lead the discussion for both groups. The Thursday afternoon group will meet at the ClubHouse at 1:00 on October 25.
