To All Niguel Shores Residents:
The Nauticus Slope renovation is well underway. The Slope has been cleared of the old vegetation and the irrigation system repaired and updated to ensure efficiency for the new plantings. Once the plants were removed, the Association hired a Geotech to check the stability of the slope and provide specifications for installation of any revetment needed to address eroded areas. The next step in this process is the “Grow and Kill” phase. The goal is to kill all of the weeds and plants that we do not want to grow on the slope. This process will provide a clean slate for the new plantings which are scheduled to be installed in August.
