The two candidates received 38 votes each. The proposed budget for 2011 – 2012 was presented. Estimated income for the year was $61,600 and estimated expenses were $37,772.64
The new board met at 8:00 p.m. at the ClubHouse: Joe Ross and Jeannie Sticher, already board members, were elected president and secretary respectively, Adrienne Rubin was elected 1st vice-president and Gary Mitchell, treasurer.
Painting: Painting of the exterior of our buildings will begin during the summer of 2013. However, at this point we want to advise owners to start looking at their siding, trim and fences to determine any repairs that may need to be made prior to painting. The process will go much quicker and the end results, enhancements of our properties, will be much greater if the painters do not need to work on or around broken or flawed surfaces. We are considering hiring a handyman to help us in this process. He will walk through the development with members of our Paint Committee to advise us of needed repairs. We will not enter anyone’s property without permission. You will receive more information as the year goes on.
Meeting Times: The Sea Terrace II Board currently meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the residence of one of our members. The meetings are generally an hour to an hour and a half. This year, in order to encourage more participation from community members, we want to vary our meeting times and are asking for input.
